AccessVR Lab at GCubed Showcase Ends With Inaugural Ribbon-Cutting

The AccessVR Lab at GCubed in Stafford, Virginia, officially made its debut on March 28 with a showcase event in Stafford, Virginia. On hand to officially open the lab are (left to right): J.J. Ruscella, Joanne Ruscella, Gary Walker, Cathy Loranger, William Findley and Don McDougal of AccessVR; Wendy Maurer of GCubed; Tinesha Allen of the Griffis-Widewater District Board of Supervisors in Stafford County, Virginia; Vernon Green and Tiffany McKenzie of GCubed; and Matt Watson and Sally Anderson of AccessVR.

Representatives from AccessVR and GCubed closed out a successful showcase opening of the AccessVR Lab at GCubed in Stafford, Virginia, on March 28, with an inaugural ribbon-cutting. The one-day showcase featured guided tours, virtual reality and role play experiences, and presentations by industry experts.

The inaugural AccessVR Lab at GCubed opening on March 28 showcased live VR (virtual reality) demonstrations, presentations and interactions with industry leaders, engagement with live and virtual role players, and insights for how to plan for the workforce of the future.

The AccessVR Lab at GCubed offers the latest innovative solutions in XR* (extended reality) to all sectors of society, creating a shared marketplace for distribution of XR talent, services, products, and commercialized experiences. It is also the first of a growing network of immersive learning labs accessible to citizens and businesses to share knowledge, resources, training, and partnering opportunities here in the heart of Virginia’s immersive technology corridor.
